About this archive & its sources

These are official final-ballot finalists and winners, rather than every preliminary nomination. Earlier years may have only winners recorded. Joint winners remain joint winners. Award years differ from publication years. Related works can include essays, websites and other formats as well as books.

Every work has a source citation. The bibliography includes works outside the science-fiction catalogue, so a catalogue link appears only when title and creator can be matched. An award for a series is distinguished from an award for one of its volumes.
